Since the start of the COVID pandemic with all it's restrictions - I have videoed all the messages for each Sunday morning and made them all available to all on youtube. Here is an example from 9 January 2022 https://youtu.be/jHx-q8L29mQ
September 29th 2013 Anniversary weekend
2012
3 June Enrolled Ethan-Harry Hague as a Junior Soldier along with his mum Jane and Grandmother Doreen Hague. Once again it was a special occasion as Ethan shared a little about how the testimony of a reformed alcoholic had on him when Ethan heard him give his testimony before being baptised. It was during the meeting that Nancy Tomlinson who had been made an adherent during last Sunday's meeting, collapsed and medics had to be called resulting in Nancy being taken to the BRI by ambulance. Please pray for Nancy. She has been detained in hospita and is awaiting the result ofvarious tests
27 May Family and friends gathered for Pentecost Sunday - the birthday of the Church. It was a really special day as Luke and Megan Gudgeon were enrolled as Junior Soldiers and five new Adherents were welcomed, Graham Gudgeon, Nancy Tomlinson, Ruth Pashley, Audrey Hairsine and Barbara Murgatroyd.
We watched as the scene from Acts 2 was played on the screen and then looked at the way in which the disciples were empowered by the Holy Spirit to be witnesses. We thought about the 'Idle engines' in York railway museum just standingn their powerless, shadows of their former selves. Once these mighty beasts travelled the lenght and breadth of the country now they lay powerless -waiting for the fire! Many Christians today are content to bask in their history - when the power is available to set them ablaze again. We want another Pentecost, 'Send the fire' we sang.

13 May We nearly reached a congregation of 100 as the hall was
packed with congregation, family and friends ( 96) for the dedication of Elion-
Hamish Hague and his brother Ethan-Harry Hague. As there were so many children there, I purposely arranged a child friendly occasion and the children didn't let me down. The singing was great with choruses like 'This is the day' 'Come on and celebrate', Our God is a great big God' etc and everyone joined in with all the actions led on one occassion by a group of the children on the platform singing and dancing their hearts out. It was a great occasion.
The short address was based on the words of Jesus 'except you become as little children you cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven. We looked at the difference between being childish in our actions and childlike in terms of our
uncomplicated view of life and more ready acceptance of things that we can't
possibly understand. We looked at when Jesus went even further that expecting us to be lke little children and told the learned Nocodemus that to enter the Kingdom he would have to be 'Born again' - spiritually of course.
At the end of the service everyone was invited to lunch at Doreen Hagues, grandmother of the two lads. Amazingly almost everyone went - the food was terrific - she could almost have fed the five thousand.
